| History |
I
have been passed from pillar to post. My
family left me and went to live in the States.
I hung around St. Lawrence Gap for a while
and then a brother and sister took me in.
They were really nice to me but I wasn’t
so keen on the ‘staying in a small
yard’ scenario so I always found ways
to escape. They even tried to tie me but
I always broke loose. Their fencing wasn’t
exactly secure. I got hit by a car once
but I am okay now.
I met a great lady over the road in Oistins,
she fed me everyday and we became the best
of friends. I really liked her dog 'Pups'.
For a few months, I spent my days running
loose, liming with my pal. It was the best
fun ever until one night, we were in the
local rum shop, and these angry men were
telling my lady friend how they were going
to beat me with a baseball bat because I
killed their chicken. I never – I
swear. All right – I do chase em a
bit but I don’t’ recall killing
one. To cut a long and scary story short
– my lady friend got very upset and
protective of me and took me straight to
a house in Atlantic Shores where she rented
a room. I stayed there for a while until
my lady friend had to leave for the UK.
This was a vets house where she had three
dogs, one puppy and loads of foster dogs.
There was a new flurry face in an out most
days so I am very well socialized. I have
recently been moved to The Hope Sanctuary
in St. George where I am now awaiting a
new home.

Food |
I LOVE chicken
or mackerel mixed with macaroni – I
am a bit of a picky eater but I am trying
to enjoy Chow. I know I will eventually get
used to it. Living on Kentucky and Chefette
scraps for as long as I can remember –
dry chow isn’t exactly my favourite
dinner. |

Activities |
Playing chase
and catch with balls, sticks and toys (coconut
shells are excellent) – I can be quite
obsessive about it at times but it’s
only because I love it SO much. If you tell
me to stop – I will, I promise..!! I
have just learnt to swim and the beach is
to me is a haven of adventure. I run like
a mad dog, swim far out and can even dive
under the water. I am very brave and confident
in the sea. I do enjoy my walks – I
am very obedient and I don’t pull. My
favourite activity…it’s got to
be cuddling in bed or snuggling on the sofa
watching a good film. I simply adore people
and I just want to show them how grateful
I am for taking care of me. You really won’t
meet a more loving dog than me..!! Yea –
loving people is definitely my favourite activity. |

Other Dogs |
I get
on great with all dogs; male, female –
big, small, old and young. Being a stray,
I have met some interesting characters on
my travels. This has made me real street-smart
and well adjusted. I am very energetic and
fun-loving and I am a true pro when it comes
to doggy-playtime. |

Cats |
Well..!!??? I
most certainly enjoy the ‘chase me,
catch me’ game – tough street
cats who brave me, I get great entertainment
out of barking at them. I must admit ‘chase
and play’ is my thing so I’m not
sure what I would do if they kept on running.
My lady friend had loads of cats and I have
never hurt one (just barked a bit). I bet
with training, we could become good buddies. |

Kids |
I am fantastic
with ALL people, kids and adults. I’m
a really likeable boy. I have so much love
to give that I know a youngster would truly
fall in love with me. |

eeemmm
– I guess you could say my ‘chase
small creatures’ hobby and I suppose
my ability to jump low walls and escape from
unsecure fencing. I reckon I could jump a
5ft fence or wall but not 6ft - I'm great
but not that great..!! I'm NOT a digger or
really escape artist…more of an opportunist.
Why do I do it? Guess I get bored sometimes.
I really LOVE the outdoors so I reckon this
would stop if I were taken out everyday. |
